Term of wild life
- Refers to undomesticated animal species, but has come to include all organisms that grow or live wild in an area without being introduced by humans.

Differences between domestic and wild animals
- Domesticated animals have been born and bred for many generations to live with humans, while wild animals have not and still live in “the wild”, or in their natural habitats. When domesticating an animal, humans encourage certain traits through selective breeding so that each generation is closer and closer to what humans ultimately want out of the species.
- Domesticated – can live humans, not able to live in the wild, can do tricks, more lazy, playful, kind, pets, useful to humans – eggs, milk, house protect, wool, meat
- Wild – more scared of humans, can live in the wild, can hunt or subsist, usually live in the groups
Endangered species, unique species, extinct species, pets
- Endangered species – javan rhinos, amur leopard, sunda island tiger, mountain gorillas, orangutans, black rhinos, African forest elephant, hawksbill turtles, bison
- Unique species – platypus, wombat, koala, panda, whale, lemur, lynx, white species
- Extinct species – dodo, Tasmanian tiger, mammoth, sabre-tooted tiger, dinosaurs
- Pets – dog, cat, rabbit, small fishes, budgie, parrot, turtle, hamster, mouse, snake
Zoos, sanctuaries, reservations

- Sanctuaries – a refuge for wildlife where predators are controlled and hunting is illegal
- Reservations – an area in which hunting is not permitted, mostly in Africa, India and North America
- Difference:
- A sanctuary is often an enclosed space, fenced off, where wild animals can rehabilitate from injuries, and sometimes live the rest of their life.
- A reserve might be any area where nature or wildlife are protected.

- The activity of hunting wild animals for food, sport or profit
