The Independence day known as the Fourth of July is American federal holiday. It celebrates the adoption of the Declaration of independence on July 4, 1776, which made the American colonist independent on the United Kingdom. It all happened during the American revolution when the Thirteen colonies were fighting for their independence on UK. The independence was finally approved by the Second Continental Congress on the 4th thanks to politician Thomas Jefferson, the principal author of declaration and fighter for democracy. It is celebration of democracy, history, tradition, government and the proud of being an independent american.
American families and friends get together to celebrate this day with presidental and politic speeches, big parades with music orchesters, picnics, concerts over the day. Very usually is also watching some basseball games. Everywhere is the US flag, on houses, cars and also people are usually dressed in the blue, white and red colors of the flag.
