Most woman loves shopping. Of course I think shopping for clothes. I’m one of them. But shopping isn’t only about clothes. Shopping is everyday activity of each of us. When we want to buy something we go to a shop. There are many kinds of shops as supermarket, a department store, men’s and women’s clothing stores, drugstore, bakery and butchery.
I live in Mariánské Lázně and there are many small shops and during the week we usually buy things in these small local shops as in grocery store, bakery, greengrocer and so on…But during the weekend we shop in supermarkets which are very popular for most people because there are various goods under one roof and it is very comfortable. It is great that there is a shopping area in Mariánské Lázně where are 3 supermarkets, shops with clothes and shoes, electronics, toys and drug store.
The next possible way of shopping is internet shopping. This type of shopping has its plus and minus. A lot of people like it because it’s very comfortable. You sit at home and choose what you want to buy. You can easily compare things according to the technical parameters. But the minus is that you can’t try on clothes and that you don’t see what you really buy. Personally I prefer shopping at shops because it is funnier for me. But sometimes I buy via the internet too.
The other way of shopping which I do most often is “window shopping”. It is really cheap kind of shopping because you don’t buy anything. You just go around some shops and you stop and stare to windows and dream about what you would like to buy. I really hate it.
There are also different ways of paying in shops. I think that most of people in theCzech Republicpay by cash. But very popular is paying by credit card. I think that this kind of paying is the most comfortable because you don’t have money with you and you still can buy whatever you want. .
I really like shopping of clothes. It makes me happy. I like when we go shopping to department store because it is composed of many shops: ready-made clothes, fabrics, shoes, sport goods, toys, glass, electronic appliances, cosmetics, etc.
I very like shopping at a discount and I think its Czech shopping habit especially after Christmas. I was there also. Everywhere where big discounts are you can find many people. You wait in a queue (kjů) for paying at least 15 minutes. The next Czech food shopping habit is for example when supermarkets have midnight shopping. Supermarkets open at midnight and everything is at half price.
