Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to draw your attention to lacks in service quality, food and the terrible behavior I was met with when I complained to one of your employees.

Firstly, in the matter of effectivity of your services there is a lot of space for improvement. Despite your claim of fast service, I had to wait almost half an hour just to be served badly cooked cheeseburger with fries.

Secondly, as I previously mentioned, the quality of the food I ordered was not at all what I expected. Although you advertise “delicious food” I was served a cheeseburger that could almost still get up and go eat grass behind the restaurant. As if that could not be enough, the fries that came with it were half frozen.

To make matters worse, when I tried to complain to the supervisor, I got nothing but rudeness back. He even insisted on my paying for the meal.

I feel that I am entitled to a full refund, and I trust that the issue with one of your employees can be dealt with promptly.

Dear Josh,

My time in London is unfortunately over. Now it’s your turn. I hope you can fly to London without my help. Upon arrival, I will take care of you. I am going to pick you up at the airport next Monday at 7 AM. Please provide me with your phone number for better connection and coordination. After we find each other at the airport, I am going to take you to the centre and we can have brunch in my favourite café. There, I will tell you more details about the au-pair work.

Now, I have to ask you – would you prefer to attend a morning or afternoon English course? I attended the morning course because it left me with a lot of free time in the afternoon for my hobbies and studying.

The family I worked for was really nice. They have two kids who are very active and do a lot of sports. My work involved taking the kids to school and to their afternoon activities. Then, I had to clean their house; for example, I had to clean the bathroom, do the washing up, set the table, etc.

I hope you’ll like this family; they are really great. And at the end of this letter, I will give you one piece of advice – take their kids to sports matches, they will really like you then!

Thank you for your letter requesting my opinion and advice for the upcoming students at your school. In this letter I will share my experiences which your students might hopefully benefit from.

Firstly, I would like to mention that all the teachers had an excellent approach to the students and always tried to explain the curriculum in a comprehensible and entertaining way. I also appreciated that they all were very helpful and cared about all the students.

Secondly, I would like to talk about the accommodation for students. Before I started attending college I have never lived on my own. Travelling to a new city and learning all the habits was difficult at the beginning, but I lived in the school´s facilities with other students. This also helped me to get to know new people and all the important information.

It is a fact that living on your own and studying at a college requires a substantial amount of money. Fortunately, the schools cooperate with a shopping centre nearby and provides jobs for all the students, who are in need for money. Living on your own also taught me how to deal with money.

As I already mention, there is a possibility to live with other students on the school´s premises and it is a magnificent way to make and build new friendships. I shared a room with a student that has already attended the school for 2 years and he helped me to adjust to new environment.

To sum up, I would recommend studying at this school to anyone, who wants to experience new teaching methods and is not afraid of living in a new environment.

Dear Mr. West,

I am sending you this email, because I am not satisfied with the guided tour of Great Britain I have paid for. There were some problems that occurred during the tour. The trip started on December 4 and ended on December 12. We went to Edinburgh by a very uncomfortable tour bus and I feel like the whole trip was one of the longest of my life.

The first big problem was our accommodation. In your advertising leaflet you said that every room in the hotel has its own bathroom. When we came to our hotel, we found out that every floor has only one shared bathroom. It was not a hotel, it was a hostel. This was a very unpleasant surprise.

The second annoying problem happened when our guide Sean started talking. He was rude and he used bad words in almost every sentence. He also could not answer almost any of our questions. He did not even show us Edinburgh castle. That was very disappointing.

I would like to suggest a solution to this problem. I am very disappointed and frustrated by this whole tour. I suggest a refund of the tour. I want at least half of the money I paid. Also it would be nice if you apologized for all the problems that occurred on the tour.

Dear friend,

welcome to the Czech republic. I’d like to meet my life. My life is not extraordinary but quite ordinary. I get up at six o’clock, air the room and make my bed. Then i go to the bathroom where I wash, brush my teeth, make up. Then I have breakfast. It may be a cup of  tea or coffee and a sendwich.Then I leave to school.

The school starts at seven o’clock  in a mathematics classroom, which is not exactly my favorite subject. In our school you will also meet subjects such as chemistry, biology, IT, history,physics. The classrooms are equipped with a blackboard and desk . Other subjects at our school is a music, art and desing, geography  it’s my favorite subjects.

I have lunch at school at the twelve o’clock. We meet in the school canteen. For lunch I can choose from three foods. In the school canteen the cook Czech cuisine. In our school canteen we cook great.

The school will finish at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. After a busy day I’m going home tired. From school I take the bus. It takes me 20 minutes. The bus stop is right in front of the house. When I’m at home I do my homework, také a bath or a shower, have a light supper and go to bed. Sometimes, I meet with my friends or watch TV at home or listen to music.
