This village is situated in South Moravia and consists of a palace and the largest park in the Czech republic. In 1996 it was written on UNESCO World Heritage List. This part of land is full of beautiful places and architectural jewels.
Charles Bridge
Charles Bridge is located in the capital city Prague and connects two sides of the Vltava river. During the day it’s very busy place. Thousands of people cross it every day. There are a lot of statues on the bridge.
Šumava National Park
This National Park is in South Bohemian Regions along the border with Austria and mostly Germany. It’s little-inhabited area of mountian range called Šumava.
Prague Castle
This is the castle where Holy Emperors, Kings of Bohemia and other sovereigns worked. The Czech Crown Jewels are kept there. Prague Castle is, according to Guiness Book of Records, the largest ancient castle in the world.
Karlštejn Castle
Karlštejn is a big Gothic / Renaissance castle founded in 1348 by Charles IV, who was King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor. The castle was used as a place for the Czech crown jewels, holy relics, and other treasures. It is located about 30 km southwest of Prague near the village called Karlštejn. It is the one of the most famous and most visited castles in the Czech Republic.
Karlovy Vary
It is a city situated in western part of Czech republic on the influence of rivers the Ohře and the Teplá. The city is called after the Holy Emperor and the King of Bohemia, Charles IV, who founded it in 1370. It is historically famous for its hot springs.
Olomouc
Olomouc is a city located in the east part of Czech republic on the Morava River. In the past, the city was capital city of Moravia. Today it’s a centre of Olomouc Region. It’s the sixth largest city in Czech republic and is famous for its Palacký University, the second oldest university in Czech republic and the Upper Square (Horní náměstí) which is the place of Holy Trinity Column and Olomouc Town Hall with astronomical clock.
Praděd
It’s the highest mountain of range of mountains called Hrubý Jeseník and Moravia. A television transmitter is build on the top of the mountain, 162m high. The Upper floor of the tower is used as watchtower. It’s also popular place to ski.
