Otázka: Why young people move to big cities?
These days many young people decide to live in big cities. There are many factors that might affect their decision. Some of the reasons are jobs and education.
Firstly, it is worth considering that young people might live in cities because of their jobs. Big cities are usually a sign of a wider range working opportunities which interests especially young career driven people. Young educated people are more likely to experience new things which help them to develop and utilise their working abilities such as communication and team work. Moreover, their income gets higher and so does their personal growth.
Even though young people tend to move to cities because of their jobs, as equally as important might be their education for them. In general, most highly qualified universities are concentrated in big cities as well as all universities professors and students from foreign countries. As a result for that student can get in touch with different cultures in their free time.
To sum it all up, I think that the most influential factor why young people choose to live in cities is their education. The fact is that students have more opportunities to get to know people who could help them with their future career growth. Despite the public transport is very good these days it is also possible to cycle to your university and to become more environmentally friendly. Overall students like to spend as much time as possible with their friends and experience the crazy busy life of a big crowded city.
